Dance and Movement
At Theatre Orchard, we love to dance!
At Theatre Orchard, we love to dance! It’s a really great way to keep fit, strong and flexible and not only keeps your body moving but your brain active – indeed, there’s evidence to suggest that dancing decreases your chances of dementia and boosts your mental health and wellbeing.
Over the years, Theatre Orchard has enjoyed a whirl of dance activities, including bringing Central Ballet to Clevedon pier, and in Weston-super-Mare, Lost Dog’s Juliet & Romeo to the end of the pier, Panta Rei to LOVES café and Contact Gonzo to Weston’s Tropicana, as well as getting the world dancing through Lockdown with ‘Boogie on Up’ online Flashmobs!
Led by our professional dance practitioner, Vic Hole, we continue to work with new dance artists and participants offering a range of regular and one-off opportunities. So whether you’d like to limber up and take part or get carried away as a spectator, get in touch with vic@theatreorchard.org.uk to find out more!
