Calling all budding detectives! Your crime-solving expertise is required at a remote exploration outpost deep in Antarctica, for there has been a murder so dastardly it will make your blood run cold. Can you solve the mystery of famous explorer Albert Ross’s icy death? Prepare to travel to the barren landscape of Antarctica, where you play detective. You’ll interrogate the suspects and attempt to unmask a murder with your fellow audience members…
Theatre Orchard has teamed up with Sharp Teeth Theatre to bring this unique show, played out on Zoom, to audiences in North Somerset. Packed with dramatic twists and turns that unfold online, the fun theatrical experience invites the audience to help solve the case by turning detective, whilst pitting their wits against some of the UK’s most talented improvisers – a brilliant cast of Bristol based performers, all of whom starred in the first case of Sherlock in Homes and with past credits including Degrees of Errors’, Murder She Didn’t Write, Racing Minds and the world’s longest running improvised soap opera, Closer Each Day.
Murder on Ice captures the liveness of being in an audience by asking viewers to interact with the people in their Zoom room. There is also the opportunity for large family and friendship groups of between 12 and 15 individuals to be put together in a Zoom breakout room, so they can solve the mystery from separate locations whilst still working as a team.
Ideal for fans of improv and comedy, the show provides the perfect way for members of the community and inter-generational family groups to don their deerstalkers and come together for an evening of sleuth-filled entertainment!
Tickets are per device- we recommend 1 or 2 people use each device/screen
