Weston’s heyday history of fun and frolics identified it as a place where imaginations ran free. And alongside the donkeys and end-of-pier amusements, Weston’s seafront is still a unique place for residents and visitors to play and to discover new energised versions of themselves.
Epic adventures on the sand, acrobatics under the pier … endless possibilities roll in with the tide. What story would you like to create?
This exhibition is a collaboration between Weston-super-Mare based photographer Paul Blakemore, North Somerset’s pioneering arts organisation Theatre Orchard and a range of artists who have been drawn to the town to live or work.
