Why did you join Theatre Orchard Youth?
It was recommended to me and sounded great – I am so glad I did. I am keen to pursue an acting career and this seemed a good step towards that as we work with professional artists plus it would be a great way to make new friends.
What keeps you coming back?
The people, the activities and I just love it! Everyone is so friendly, and I’ve made good friends. I love the improvisation too and the fact that we often choose what we do.
What do you get out of being a member of Theatre Orchard Youth?
It’s always a good laugh and it’s a great environment to be in. I get to meet very friendly people. It builds my confidence inside and outside of the group. I’ve made some good friends who make me laugh. I have teenage girls in my house looting my garage for cider…
Tell us about you in the future!
I want to do a lot of acting and have an acting career. My inspiration is Tom Holland. He is dyslexic and has overcome this to be very successful as an actor. I want to inspire young children to believe that no matter your background if you set your mind to it you can achieve.
What would you say to someone who maybe wanted to join but was feeling a bit nervous?
If you enjoy acting join us! It’s a great place to find your confidence and make new, like-minded friends. Everyone is friendly and non-judgemental, and it is a lot of fun. Plus one of the group regularly brings homemade cupcakes. Winner!
