ACCESS

We want your festival experience to be as enjoyable and accessible as possible. All performance areas have level access and viewing areas with seating.  Many of the shows are non-verbal and our information point can support you to choose events. Accessible toilets and changing spaces are available inside the Sovereign Centre, next to the event site.

TOWARD A GREENER FESTIVAL

We are committed to being environmentally responsible and taking action to reduce our carbon  impacts wherever possible. Here are a few of the things  we’ve done recently:

  • Developed a net zero strategy aiming to reduce our emissions by 50% by 2025
  • All events are powered by mains from a Green Energy Supplier or renewable energy.
  • We have a Green Charter with our food stalls and bar.
  • All produce is locally sourced where possible. All serve ware is recyclable or compostable. We are meat and fish free.
  • We encourage all our artists to travel by train where possible.

And here’s how you can help:

  • Where possible, walk, cycle or use public transport to attend our events.
  • Use recycling facilities at our events.

ABOUT US

Our mission is to grow an ambitious, playful and outward looking creative culture to make North Somerset a great place to live, work and play. We collaborate year-round with extraordinary artists -local, national and international -and communities across North Somerset to create unmissable cultural experiences that fire imaginations, expand horizons, give voice to marginalised communities and have the power to change lives. Since 2018 we have been an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation. We are a charity that depends on the generosity of funders and supporters, including our valued team of Culture Maker volunteers, to enable our work.
